It’s Real Kyper at Noon, and WE ARE LIVE with Episode 36. Legendary goaltender, Glenn Healy, stops by the program today and the boys reminisce about their 1993-1994 Stanley Cup victory together for the New York Rangers. Of course, we talk some 2020 NHL Playoffs and discuss which teams have a chance to come back from these 3-1 deficits.
The lead is obvious today… Nathan MacKinnon is gunning for the “best player in the world” title. The gap between him and Connor McDavid gets more narrow by the second as MacKinnon helps the Colorado Avalanche force a Game 7 against the Dallas Stars (once down 1-3 in the series). Notching another goal and assist last night, MacKinnon has at least one point in all 14 of his playoff games this year.
Tonight, the Flyers intend to force a Game 7 of their own, taking on a potentially “Barzal-less” Islanders team. Head Coach, Barry Trotz stated on Wednesday, “I think everything is trending in the right direction right now. Hopefully, by tomorrow we’ll have more specifics.” Barzal took a high stick late in the third period of Game 5 and did not return.
Joe Holka stops by to bring Kyper through our third betting 101 segment, this time, the guys discuss Over/Unders and how to use advanced hockey stats like Corsi when betting on hockey. These are educational concepts and topics, we urge you to bet responsibly and within your means.
Today’s NHL action:
- Philadelphia Flyers (1) vs. New York Islanders (6): NYI leads 3-2
- Vegas Golden Knights (1) vs. Vancouver Canucks (5): VGK leads 3-2
