The Lightning finished off a 25-game run in this COVID CUP playoffs with wins over the Blue Jackets, Bruins, Islanders, and Stars. Their 6 victory on Monday was hardly in doubt, as the Stars struggled to get much going offensively all night long.
Victor Hedman, and his 10 goals this postseason, edges out Brayden Point for the Conn Smythe trophy for playoff MVP. Hedman has been with the Lightning since 2009, and was able to help this team rebound from a 1st round exit (swept by the Blue Jackets) to win the Stanley Cup.
