Former Staff

Joe Holka

Co-Founder of Line Movement

Joe spent two years as a minor pro hockey player in the New York Rangers and Anaheim Ducks affiliates in the ECHL (2014-15 and 2015-16).

Since his playing career came to an end, Joe has established a personal brand throughout the daily fantasy sports and betting industry for data-driven analysis and cross-platform content at elite-level production quality.

He was formerly a full-time employee at FantasyLabs — a company in which Mark Cuban was an investor and strategic partner — before they were ultimately acquired by the Chernin Group in 2017 forming The Action Network. From there, Joe broke ties completely from mainstream media and built his own business (Holkamania LLC), revolving around sports content and one-on-one consulting services for high-stakes daily fantasy sports players/bettors.

Nick Kypreos

Director of Hockey Operations for Line Movement

Nick Kypreos, born in Toronto, Ontario, is a retired NHL player and former hockey analyst at Rogers Sportsnet in Canada.

Nick began his pro career in the Philadelphia Flyers organization where he won a Calder Cup as a member of the Hershey Bears in an undefeated playoff run. He then began his NHL career on the Washington Capitals before going to play for the Hartford Whalers, the New York Rangers, and ended his career playing for his hometown team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. He won a Stanley Cup championship in 1994 with the New York Rangers that ended their 54-year drought.

After retiring from the NHL in 1998, Nick was hired as a hockey analyst and helped launch Rogers Sportsnet to rival Canada’s only all sports cable company, TSN. He worked at Sportsnet for over two decades and played a fundamental role in the rise of the network. He began a popular radio show, Hockey Central at Noon, which went on to become the highest rated radio hockey show at the time. His seat on Hockey Night in Canada and his coverage of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics are among his broadcasting career highlights. The gold medal game between Canada and the USA remains the most watched television broadcast in Canadian history with nearly one half of the entire nation tuning in.

In 2020, Nick helped launch Little Buddha Cocktail Company, a distilled cocktail company using health forward and environmentally conscious ingredients. His soon to be released memoir, Undrafted, about family, hockey, broadcasting, and what it takes to be a pro, will be released by Simon and Schuster in fall 2020.
